Edward Harrington
Edward William Harrington has been Assistant Professor of Music Education and Technology at New Mexico Highlands University since 2006, where he revitalized the instrumental and technology programs. He studied composition with Brian Bevelander and Jeff Talman at Heidelberg University, and Marilyn Shrude and Berton Beerman at Bowling Green State University.
Harrington writes a variety instrumental and choral works, and was a featured composer at the Santa Fe Community Orchestra's "New Works by New Mexico's Composers" 2012 event. He performs as a bassist with the Smooth Riders Jazz Quartet and a New Mexico adaptation of the Richie Cole Alto Madness Orchestra. He also performs as a trombonist with the Roadrunner Brass Quintet in Santa Fe, NM.
