Steve Peterman studied music at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, where he played in the St. Olaf Band and Orchestra, and pursued a degree in physics. Until recently, he lived in Minneapolis, MN, where he played Trombone with the Northern Symphony Orchestra and the Anoka Community Theater as well as singing with the VocalEssence Chorus. Steve currently lives in Roanoke, Virginia.
Steve studied the Trombone under John Tranter until leaving high school to study with Paul Niemisto at St. Olaf. Other mentors include Timothy Mahr, Steven Amundson, and John Ferguson. Steve would love to hear from you if you are performing his works.
